If you were to take a random cross-section of a painting, it should be as unmistakable as your fingerprint, perhaps the uniqueness is as nuanced and subtle as a finger print, but it is unmistakably yours. For this exhibition we are looking for the evidence of your individual stroke. Open to artists working in any media that is directly manipulated with the hand; generally traditional fine art media (sculpture, drawing or painting). A case can also be made for darkroom photography, or digital work that is manipulated with the mouse, but whatever the media is, traditional or new- the work must show the individual creative nature of the artist's hand.
