Composers age thirty-five and younger as of September 30, 2008 who are current residents of, were born in, or who have completed a substantial portion of their musical education in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba may enter. Eligibility should be addressed in a cover letter. Entrants are eligible to win the prize once only.
