The 2012 Fifth Beijing International Music Competition Flute will be held from October 11th to October 23rd, 2012 in Beijing, China.

- The Beijing International Music Competition Administration (BIMCA) is in charge of all the arrangement and organization of the 2012 Fifth Beijing International Music CompetitionFlute. The competition is presented by the E-Chengwen International Culture Promotion Co., Ltd (EICP).

2012 Fifth Beijing International Music Competition-FLUTE will award the First Prize, the Second Prize, the Third Prize, the Fourth Prize, the Fifth Prize, the Sixth Prize and the Best Interpretation of new work with certificates and prizes. The Panel Jury may decide not to award a place or to award the same ranking for two or more prizewinners. If two or more prizewinners are awarded the same rank, the total amount of cash prizes for that ranking shall be divided equally among them. But the cash prizes for the fourth prize, the fifth prize and the sixth prize will no less than 1,000 USD. The prizewinners will have the opportunity to take part in the concert series. The prizewinners need to pay tax on their own.
